Halloween weekend began with a flip off the swings at school. This picture is a direct result of what happens when you flip off the swing. I took this picture today right after our trip to the Dr. and Urgent Care for x rays . She had her little accident on Friday which means... she went the whole weekend with this injury!!!Here is our Toothfairy on Friday night:
Saturday was her birthday party at White Rock Skate Center. I haven't been to White Rock in probaby 18 years and I can honestly say NOTHING HAS CHANGED... AT ALL. The only difference I could see was there is no more photo booth. The same guy with the mustache (the owner, i'm guessing) is still there, they still have the limbo and they still turn all of the lights down and play Ghostbusters with fog coming out of the ceiling. The paint and the carpet is still the same and it still smells of popcorn and feet.
These were her party favors. Cute t shirts that said Karsen's 7th birthday party and had a picture of roller skates.
... So that brings us to Monday. Karsen's thumb was still really swollen and bruised so I decided to take her in to make sure nothing was broken... She broke her thumb down by the palm. The put her in a splint and a sling and we have to take her to the Orthopedic Surgeon for a cast this week... What a weekend!
